The planning for 2017 Regional Shop Stewards Group Meeting are booked for the following dates.

THE MEETING WILL BE HELD AT GMB EUSTON LONDON 11am. They will continue to provide a National input into what is taking place within ASDA and the training for all Reps.
Therefor it is vital for ALL REPS to attend these R.S.S.G meetings as the ASDA/GMB partnership agreement which provides paid release for all R.S.S.G.meetings.
if this benefit to the partnership is not taken advantage of, it could be removed.
Please advise your line manager and PTM/GSM of the above dates well in advance to enable time to arrange adequate cover. The dates will also be circulated through
SD’S/SMP’S within ASDA.
AN IMPORTANT REMINDER — Prior to all of these meetings a L54 BRANCH MEETING will take place at 10.am. These are important meetings for ALL BRANCH members to take part in.

6/TRIBUNALS.
The number of workers taking claims to Tribunals has dropped by 73% since charges were increased to £1200.0. The findings prove that workers seeking employment justice, face a financial hurdle. The Tory party has said it wants to be a “party of the people”! Then the act should be to repeal the Employment Tribunal fees, so that working people can challenge bad employers in court.
